Jeff & Natalie Inwood
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Natalie. From the moment she could hold a pencil, she loved to draw.
As she grew older, Natalie's passion blossomed into a career as a designer. She married her prince charming, but then life took an unexpected turn. Heartbreak came in the form of a divorce, leaving Natalie as a single mother with two small children. As the saying goes, it was both the worst and best of times - filled with challenges, yet also so many precious moments.
To support her family, Natalie took on dreadfully dull corporate jobs. But day by day, she felt her creativity draining away, and she secretly yearned for her colour pencils.
Then one fateful day, the winds of change blew in. Natalie met Jeff, a kind-hearted man with a twinkle in his eye. Before long they fell in love and got married. Little did Natalie know, Jeff harboured a secret desire of his own - he had always wanted to make a difference, however small, by writing children's books! He delighted in the power of wordplay and rhymes and sounds. The years rolled by, and their children filled their lives with adventures and laughter, as one by one they grew up and flew the nest.
Then suddenly the world changed dramatically. A pandemic swept through. Suddenly, everyone was stuck at home, but it wasn’t all bad. With the help of a furlough scheme that felt like a magic wand, Natalie finally escaped the shackles of her boring job. Energised and armed with Jeff's whimsical tales, she Googled how to make children's books...
Before they knew it, they had four enchanting books available on Amazon, with another fifteen waiting in the wings. Together, Natalie and Jeff now lovingly craft stories for children everywhere, inviting them into a world where 'rhyming read alouds' reign supreme.
And they lived happily ever after, enabling gentle learning and shared reading moments through the magic of words.
Our books mix fun, fact and fantasy, using simple, evocative language that parents relish reading aloud, and young children can easily follow.
